The 2017 Restaurant Industry EVENT: & NRA Restaurant Show

May 5, 2017 – Nothing stays the same in the Foodservice Industry. As a restaurant consultant and professional member of FCSI The Americas specializing in Management Advisory Services (MAS) I attend the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago annually. This keeps me current on my industry knowledge, up on trends and of course always educating myself to deliver clients real solutions. It’s a non strop week. The NRA Show is enormous and has the scale you need to stay abreast of all facets of the restaurant industry.

If you are in the industry or thinking of starting a New Restaurant Business it’s really a must attend show. The Chicago show will have it all, and if you want to meet industry Pros and network you will be in a gold mine of an opportunity.  The NRA Show is open Saturday – Tuesday. Paul Barron, Editor In Chief and CEO at Foodable Network Our Fast-Casual Guru

The exciting NEWS is that Paul Barron and the Foodable Network Team will be presenting the 2nd Restaurant Industry Event May 19th. Paul is the Executive Producer and he shared “ 2017 – Will be Building the Roadmap for the Restaurant Industry through Film, Education and Networking with four core segments: Brand, Technology, Culinary and Beverage all wrapped in Marketing. Attending, presenting, sharing and networking will be industry thought leaders from all segments. The content will be extraordinary with high level creative thinking.

Bill Bender, FCSI – @WmBender Silicon Valley

Tapping into my considerable past Foodable Network Host duties and Rock My Restaurant Co-Host experience, I’ve been selected to be the moderator for the very forward thinking Lunch General Session Panel  (It was a very shallow talent pool, lol)

Future Food: The Destiny of the Restaurant Industry

It’s the hottest topic on the plate today — the future of our farms, our food system and the chef, operators and brands that are ringing in a new era of food. This session brings the top minds together to talk about what our next steps could be and should be. This Future Food panel will include very knowledgable speakers:

Corey Hill, founder and CEO of Indie Food Hub – @indiefoodhub

Steve Heeley, CEO of Veggie Grill – @VeggieGrill

Sara Brito, co-founder and president of the Good Food 100 – @slowfoodiegirl

Jack Griffin, president fo Metropolis Farms – @metropolisusa

Heidi Coudal, owner at Big Delicious Planet Catering, Canteen & Urban Farm – @heidimcoudal 2016 – High Energy Networking

Take a quick look that at the 2016 Story and what is all about. Attendees were able meet dozens of successful, hard charging leaders that shared the direction their brand’s were taking to innovate and grow sales through their guest experience.

Last year presenters were distruptors, as we shifted subjects rapidly and frequently strayed from long-held industry beliefs. Remember the adage, If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you always got.

Listen to friend and colleague award winning foodservice designer Ken Schwartz, FCSI of SSA Foodservice + Consulting in an interview with Paul Barron discuss Restaurant Design Disruption.
