Rock My Restaurant is about: Building, Designing, Equipping, Operations, Technology, Innovation and Brand Development from the ground up. We’ve been developing a New Format for RMR called Rock My Restaurant – Pro to provide Premium content to the entire restaurant industry. This is for people in the industry, people advancing in their careers or those just about ready to take the plunge and join us.

We’ve had fun developing RMR-Pro and I have to thank to my co-host and friend Eric. He’s Vice President of MVP Services Group and a very talented Foodservice Designer. I believe he knows the exact specifications of any piece of foodservice equipment that has ever been invented and manufactured. As Foodservice Consultant Society International professional members we meet at regional and national conferences and FCSI functions as often as we can schedule. Of course with his lovely wife Kerrie and young son Gunther he is constantly on the go.

Eric and I attended the 2015 FCSI Symposium in Anaheim, California in February that is held prior to the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) Show. The theme for the Symposium was STOP, Collaborate & Listen. We would be recording two of our new format RMR-Pros at NAFEM and several RMR product reviews. We had prepared show script ideas but attending the Stop, Collaborate & Listen talk was also perfect timing for us to COLLABORATE Further and LISTEN to everyone we came in contact with during NAFEM week.

We both thought, what if RMR-Pro could become a digital resource for the RMR audience to gain more knowledge, and we could share FCSI level content for design and management?  This idea was shared with Jeffrey and Paul and the Foodable Team Listened. It was accepted and we began the collaboration and development process.

This is just ONE Example of why Eric and I are proud to be members of FCSI. The level of restaurant and foodservice consulting is set high with our FCSI colleagues and members. Each member is professional, honors our code of ethics and shares as much as they know with fellow members.

A huge Thank You to one more friend Bill Main, FCSI that advises me and also shares an enormous amount of his content with me. Bill is known for his concept of Menu Optimization that increases restaurant profitability. I just refer to Bill as The Menu Guy. I owe Bill a lot and I appreciate how much time and experience he has shared with me the last 25 years. FCSI members like Bill Main work to raise the level of professional consulting when they share their expertise with Society members. Thank you Bill!
